Let's keep it simple and fun! What's the Deal with Clipping Masks? Think of a clipping mask as a fancy shape (we call it a clipping path ) that can hide parts of pictures beneath it. So, if you want to show off only what's inside this cool shape, use a clipping mask. Remember, the shape must be on top, and you can only have one per layer or group. Making a Clipping Mask: Easy Peasy! Creating a clipping mask is as easy as a few clicks: Menu Style: Go to Object > Clipping Mask > Make. Shortcut Lovers: Press Command + 7 for a quick fix.
